The leader of the Local Government Association's Labour group has made a last-ditch plea to Eric Pickles to look again at the Government's funding formula.

In a letter to Mr Pickles, seen by The MJ, Cllr Jim McMahon urged him to ensure the settlement for 2015/16 was ‘fair and needs-based' before it was finalised.
