The highlight of the legal year for local government lawyers is the Annual Weekend School held at a university campus around Easter every year.

The School is in its 50th decade and, given the vagaries of the British weather, the event has seen snowfalls and heatwaves. Fortunately, the delegates at this year's Weekend School at Exeter were able to bask in 25-degree sunshine in-between seminars, rather than Siberian snow showers!
