LDL moves back to local authority ownership

Liverpool City Council’s controversial partnership with BT – Liverpool Direct (LDL) – looks set to be transferred back into local authority hands by the end of October.

Liverpool City Council's controversial partnership with BT – Liverpool Direct (LDL) – looks set to be transferred back into local authority hands by the end of October.

A report setting out the arrangements for the transfer of the ownership of LDL, and the model for future delivery of services currently provided by the company goes before the council's cabinet tomorrow (24 October).
