Council leaders have blasted utility firms for leaving multimillion-pound damage on local road networks.

Council leaders have blasted utility firms for leaving multimillion-pound damage on local road networks.

The Local Government Association (LGA) claims authorities are left to foot an annual bill for £70m worth of damage after contractors fail to patch up roadworks properly.
