Business leaders have defended the track record of the Regional Growth Fund (RGF) and other regeneration programmes.

Business leaders have defended the track record of the Regional Growth Fund (RGF) and other regeneration programmes following a highly critical report by MPs.

The House of Commons' public accounts committee published a report on 16 May, which criticised the existing RGF and claimed of the £3.9bn allocated to projects, just under £400m had made it to local projects by the end of 2012/13.
