Legal action delay for Glasgow IT contract

Work on Glasgow City Council’s potential new IT contract with CGI has been put on hold following threats of legal action from the current provider, Serco.

Work on Glasgow City Council's potential new IT contract with CGI has been put on hold following threats of legal action from the current provider, Serco.

A spokesman for the Scottish local authority confirmed it had ‘temporarily paused work' with CGI following an intervention by the outsourcing giant.
