Cuts to legal aid could lead to massive reductions in Shelter's advisory services, the leading housing charity has warned.

Shelter's chief executive, Campbell Robb, said cuts to the number of housing and social welfare cases eligible for legal aid funding in England, could mean a 50% reduction in funding to support face-to-face advice services.
