Legal battle with Southwest One cost Somerset £5.9m

Somerset CC paid £5.9m to settle a contract dispute with outsourcing partner Southwest One, figures have revealed.

Somerset CC paid £5.9m to settle a contract dispute with outsourcing partner Southwest One, figures have revealed.

Southwest One – which carries out back office services at Somerset, Taunton Deane BC and Avon and Somerset Police - tried to sue the county council for £25m in February.
