Leisure project gives a LIFT to borough

A new health and leisure centre in Lambeth has become the first local council-led project to be delivered thorough the local improvement finance trust (LIFT) initiative.

A new health and leisure centre in Lambeth has become the first local council-led project to be delivered thorough the local improvement finance trust (LIFT) initiative.

The developer, Building Better Health, will deliver the £16.5m Norwood Hall Joint Service Centre, which will include a swimming pool, GP and dentistry services, and community meeting rooms. Architect, Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, will design the four-storey building.
