Local enterprise partnerships (LEPs) have vowed to not let the voice of businesses be ignored in devolution discussions as power threatens to swing to combined authorities.

Most councils are continuing to give LEPs the core funding needed to keep them going, though some plan to reduce their support or even end it completely.
