Levelling up areas reported the highest need for social care due to ill health, according to latest figures pulled from the 2021 census.

The North East and North West of England and South Wales had the highest proportion of people who reported being in bad or very bad health, were disabled or spent 20 hours or more a week providing unpaid care, said the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
