Levelling up, scaling down?

Key measures on planning expected to be moved from flagship levelling up Bill.

The Johnson Government's flagship Levelling Up and Regeneration Bill could face a cull as it winds its way through the Parliamentary process, The MJ understands.

According to sources close to Parliament, controversial planning measures in the Bill may be stripped out and held over to form part of a new housing and planning bill – possibly alongside legislation to create the new Government's controversial investment zones.
