Brandon Lewis has ruled out the prospect of local government reorganisation any time soon, despite growing calls from councillors around the country.

Responding to a letter from the chairman of the Lincoln, Sleaford and North Hykeham Liberal Democrats, David Harding-Price, calling for the reorganisation of councils in Lincolnshire, the local government minister said the Government has no plans 'at present' to instigate a review.
