LGA backs warnings over health reforms

The LGA has backed a new report warning the Government to wake up to the impact its health reforms could have on children.

The Local Government Association (LGA) has backed a new report warning the Government to wake up to the impact its health reforms could have on children and young people.

The NHS Confederation report – produced in conjunction with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and the Office of Public Management – said the Government should produce a cross-departmental strategy to help improve children's health in the light of the Health and Social Care Bill.
