Local government's collective energy-switching movement intensified further this week, with around 70 new organisations – and Smith Square – expressing an interest in supporting local schemes.
As The MJ went to press, the Local Government Association's (LGA) leadership board was scheduled to meet to discuss 'establishing an LGA collective switching of energy offer for the sector'. Sources suggested the board would discuss Peterborough City Council's 'inter-council' collective switching framework – which allows any UK local authority to join.
