Council chiefs have demanded a five-year guarantee on funding for health and care integration through the Better Care Fund.

The call comes after it emerged local areas have pooled £5.4bn in local BCF schemes for 2015/16, a figure 40% greater than the £3.8bn minimum required by the Department of Health.
