LGA homes scheme dumped for PWLB

A Local Government Association (LGA) scheme to help councils build new homes has folded because authorities preferred the Public Works Loan Board (PWLB).

A Local Government Association (LGA) scheme to help councils build new homes has folded because authorities preferred the Public Works Loan Board (PWLB).

LG Develop was launched by the LGA and financial advisers Centrus to allow councils to build homes outside of the traditional route of the Housing Revenue Account.
