LGA launches health commission

The Local Government Association has launched a new cross-party health commission looking at how people can have their say on local health services.

The commission, led by chief executive of health policy think-tank, the King's Fund, Niall Dickson, will investigate how to engage people in decisions about local services and decisions over funding.

It will also look at regulation and inspection, scrutiny, improvement, service delivery and patient involvement.
