Calls are growing for the Local Government Association’s (LGA) ‘outdated’ political balance formula to be overhauled to reflect changes in the sector.

Calls are growing for the Local Government Association's (LGA) ‘outdated' political balance formula to be overhauled to reflect changes in the sector.

Even the architect of the formula, which was drawn up 20 years ago, said changes might soon be necessary.
