The Local Government Association (LGA) has come under pressure to push for its pension fund to withdraw its Russian investments.

LGA Liberal Democrats have written to the chairman and chief executive of the association after it emerged that the LGA's pension – administered by the Merseyside Pension fund – has Russian investments.
