A senior Tory Local Government Association (LGA) councillor has criticised his own organisation's response to the finance settlement as a ‘big disappointment'.

Speaking at the latest meeting of the LGA's executive, chairman of East Midlands Councils, Cllr Martin Hill, Lincolnshire CC leader said he had wanted a ‘more robust response' from Smith Square.
