LGA: Strike disruption minimised

Trade unions have hailed yesterday’s strike as a success despite town hall chiefs saying disruption was kept to a minimum.

Trade unions have hailed yesterday's strike as a success despite town hall chiefs saying disruption was kept to a minimum.

According to Unison, around 1,200 picket lines were set up in front of town halls, with more than one million workers attending the picket lines.
