Local government leaders are calling for a dramatic shift in government policy in a bid to meet the shortfall over school places.

Local government leaders are calling for a dramatic shift in government policy in a bid to meet the shortfall over school places, which was revealed today. 

Research by the Local Government Association has found that two thirds of all council in England could struggle to find school places for primary school pupils by 2016.
