LGA: Welfare grant axing undermines Government's partnership pledge

Councils have complained that the axing of welfare support funding is evidence of coalition backtracking.

Council chiefs have complained to ministers that the phasing out of local welfare support funding is evidence the coalition is backtracking on a pledge to work in partnership with local authorities.
