LGPS invests in infrastructure

Two of the largest local government pension schemes (LGPS) in the UK have agreed to collaborate to invest up to £500m in infrastructure opportunities.

Two of the largest local government pension schemes (LGPS) in the UK have agreed to collaborate to invest up to £500m in infrastructure opportunities.

The Greater Manchester Pension Fund (GMPF) and the London Pensions Fund Authority (LPFA) said the investment, which will be drawn down over the next three to four years, was a ‘significant step' for both organisations.
