Lib dems put housing to the top of the agenda

Councils will be allowed to borrow extra money for housing under plans outlined by Liberal Democrat leader Tim Farron.

Councils will be allowed to borrow extra money for housing under plans outlined by Liberal Democrat leader Tim Farron. 

Mr Farron will use his party conference speech later today to make housing a priority. The leader claimed he would make housing a top priority and introduce a housing investment bank.
