Lincolnshire CC has named the shortlist of three firms that are in the running for its back office services contract.

The selected bidders are Agilisys, BT and Serco and all three firms will now enter a 'competitive dialogue' with the local authority, before submitting final proposals later this year.

The contract includes IT, HR and finance services, which are currently provided by Mouchel.

'We've carefully assessed all the bids received, and we're confident that we've chosen the companies that can best meet our needs,' said executive director for resources and community safety, Pete Moore.

'We'll be working closely with these businesses over the coming months to make sure we get the best possible deal for taxpayers.'
