Liverpool City Council chief executive Ged Fitzgerald has been quizzed by Mayor Joe Anderson over his time as Rotherham MBC boss during a two-hour meeting behind closed doors.
Rotherham, where Mr Fitzgerald was chief executive between 2001 and 2003, has been criticised for not doing enough to tackle child sexual exploitation by male grooming gangs.
