Liverpool to take key Youth Contract role

Liverpool City Council is set to play a key role in delivering the Government's £1bn Youth Contract programme.

Liverpool City Council is set to play a key role in delivering the Government's £1bn Youth Contract programme.

The scheme, which aims to get almost half of Britain's one million unemployed young people into work, was officially launched on Monday by deputy prime minister Nick Clegg.
