Gaining Horizon 2020 URBAN GreenUP project funding in 2017, Liverpool City Council was provided the opportunity to retrofit, test and monitor a range of green infrastructure.
With a desire to create a green corridor across Liverpool's urban city that delivers on biodiversity, biophilia and air quality, the council set to work by transforming the most unlikely green build; Parr Street's multi-storey carpark, a typical hub for harmful vehicle emissions.
