Government plans to scrap regional spatial strategies could put organisations like English Heritage under pressure, according to the quango's chairman.

Speaking yesterday in the House of Lords, during a debate on the Localism Bill, Baroness Andrews said national bodies could be obliged to provide advice and information once the strategies are gone.
