Newham's mayor has told The MJ he is ‘staggeringly disappointed' with devolution in London so far as eight boroughs launched a claim for powers.

Speaking as east London mayors and council leaders signed up to proposals to reform decision-making and public service delivery under a devolved structure, Sir Robin Wales criticised the London mayor for failing to pass down powers.
