Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has assigned 10 London boroughs their own ‘town architect' as part of a pilot scheme to improve public spaces and design.
The architects, working for Redbridge, Greenwich, Barking & Dagenham, Hackney, Hillingdon, Enfield, Lewisham, Croydon, Hounslow and Ealing LBCs, will be tasked with ensuring new buildings and public spaces ‘benefit all Londoners by promoting quality and inclusion in the built environment'.
