Barking and Dagenham councillors are ‘furious' with NHS chiefs for refusing to publish details of planned savings, likely to affect local health services.

Cllr Linda Reason, cabinet member for health and adult services has written to Frances Pennell-Buck, chair of the Outer North East London primary care trusts (ONEL), expressing that she is ‘greatly concerned' by the decisions and how they were reached.
