London set for re-gen project-funding boost

London has secured £41m of funding from the DCLG to support private-sector investment in infrastructure and regeneration projects.

London has secured £41m of funding from the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) to support private-sector investment in large-scale infrastructure and regeneration projects in the capital.

In submitting its tender to the DCLG's Growing Places Fund, the Greater London Authority sought to address infrastructure and planning obstacles stymieing economic growth and the creation of new jobs and housing.
