London sets out its stall for devolution

London has set out its plans for future devolution to the capital, and established a ‘Congress for London’ between the boroughs and the Mayor of London as a platform for devolution.

London has set out its plans for future devolution to the capital, and established a ‘Congress for London' between the boroughs and the Mayor of London as a platform for devolution. 

Under the plans, the London Councils executive and the Mayor will make up the executive of the new body which will put London on a level playing field with combined authorities in preparation for further devolution.
