The Learning and Skills Improvement Service has recruited a new member to its senior management team.

The Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS) has today announced the appointment of Chris Cherry to its senior management team. He joins the team as executive director, strategy and business development, responsible for developing LSIS services to help the sector drive improvement, interpret policy and respond to strategic change. A respected learning and skills practitioner, Mr Cherry has 18 years experience in both public and private sector organisations. He has worked as a college lecturer and senior manager, and more recently as an inspector, education adviser, consultant and business development director.
