Greater Manchester has plans for the future

After taking on historic powers, the Greater Manchester Combined Authority is now determined to launch a new spatial framework to aid economic growth and target development across the region. Cllr Richard Farnell explains

The first draft of Greater Manchester's spatial framework goes live in late October and will guide how we develop our homes, workplaces and transport over the next 20 years.

Let's face it, a place with a plan is a place with a future. That's why Greater Manchester's 10 local authorities have been working together on what is being called the Greater Manchester spatial framework for our conurbation.
