Manchester and Salford city councils have announced plans for a joint legal team.

Manchester and Salford city councils have announced plans for a joint legal team, which could save both authorities a total of £5m.

A report on the possible merger will go before Manchester's executive next week and Salford's cabinet next month and will outline the possible benefits of joining forces.
