Maude launches 'pro-growth' procurement reforms

Plans to make it faster and easier for businesses to win government contracts were announced today by Minister for the Cabinet Office, Francis Maude.

Plans to make it faster and easier for businesses to win government contracts were announced today by Minister for the Cabinet Office, Francis Maude.

Mr Maude unveiled a package of measures, which include posting £50bn of potential deals online, slashing the time taken to tender bids from 200 to 120 days and collaborating with suppliers far earlier in the procurement process.
