Mayor apologises as combined authority 'learns lessons'

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority’s chief executive, Rob Bridge, has said he is ‘confident’ his organisation has ‘learned many lessons’ as mayor Nik Johnson apologised.

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority's chief executive, Rob Bridge, has said he is ‘confident' his organisation has ‘learned many lessons' as mayor Nik Johnson apologised.

Mayor Johnson's public apology came after a panel hearing, which discussed matters in private, unanimously found he breached the combined authority's code of conduct ‘in relation to civility and disrepute' after a two-year probe.
