Boris Johnson has called on London's councils to unite to tackle the 'menace' of urban foxes, after one of the animals entered a south-east London home and bit the finger off a one-month-old boy.

The child had his finger re-attached by surgeons and is reported to be recovering well after the attack on 6 February in Downham.
