McKinlay lands top scrutiny role

Staffordshire CC director of strategy and customer services Jacqui McKinlay has been appointed the new executive director of the Centre for Public Scrutiny, it has emerged.

Staffordshire CC director of strategy and customer services Jacqui McKinlay has been appointed the new executive director of the Centre for Public Scrutiny, it has emerged.

Ms McKinlay, who replaces Jessica Crowe after a nine year stint in charge, will take up the post leading the charity which promotes public scrutiny and accountability from May.

A communications professional with 15-years board experience, her experience spans Whitehall, local government and different sectors including health and sport.  In recent years Ms McKinlay was instrumental in helping set up the sector-wide Commissioning Academy with the Cabinet Office.
