US music legend Meat Loaf, whose trilogy of Bat Out of Hell albums sold more than 65m copies worldwide, died last week.

His stage presence, personality and talent turned him into a legend. And his death prompted fond recollections among local government's own rather more low-key superstars down in Bournemouth.
