Wannabe councillors considering how to get themselves elected might like to consider the strange case of Gylve ‘Fenriz' Nagell.

Fenriz, who is perhaps better known as the drummer for the Norwegian black metal band Darkthrone, is now an elected member of his local town council in Kolbotn in Norway despite asking the electorate to not vote for him.
