New member of the SDNPA announced

The secretary of state for the environment has announced a new member is to join South Downs National Park Authority.

Diana Kershaw has been named by the secretary of state for the environment as a new member of the South Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA), following national, open competition. She was due to take up her new appointment earlier this month.

Ms Kershaw has worked as a local authority transport and town planner, primarily in east London, and was head of planning for Newham LBC, where she led the Stratford development initiatives.
