Michael Burton reports on how Glasgow City Council, won the Children's Services category at the recent MJ awards.

In a bid to boost the take-up of foster carers and adopters, Glasgow City Council designed and launched a pioneering publicity campaign which told potential carers they could become part of a child's memories. The campaign won the council top prize in the Children's Services category of The MJ Awards 2012, as Michael Burton reports.

Glasgow City Council's pioneering campaign to encourage more fostering and adopting has attracted huge interest from other local authorities, as well as winning an MJ award.
