Mendip DC is set to reject an application from Frome Town Council to take responsibility for ground services in its area.

An urgent report going before Mendip's cabinet meeting tonight, recommends Frome's bid for the tendered contract be rejected 'as it is not deemed to be in the best interest of local taxpayers due to financial and legal risks', council staff have revealed.
