'Merge services and lose jobs'

The trade union Unison has warned plans to bring together education and social care services at Stirling and Clackmannanshire councils will lead to job cuts.

The trade union Unison has warned plans to bring together education and social care services at Stirling and Clackmannanshire councils will lead to job cuts.

The two local authorities are looking at a ‘lead council model' with Clackmannanshire's education services being run from Stirling, and Stirling's social care services being run from Clackmannanshire.
