I recently watched Terence Davies' award-winning short film, ‘Of Time and the City'. Using archived footage and a powerful soundtrack, Davies gives a poetic personal account of the economic, social and cultural history of Liverpool over the last 60 years. 

The result is a bold, elegant and at times irreverent homage to the 2008 European City of Culture.
